Aluminum Jacket was the first metal to be used as jacketing material. In alloys 1200, 3003, 5005 and 5010, and
tempers H14 through H19, it is still the most widely used product for general purpose industrial installations, but is not recommended for use in areas requiring chemical resistance under alkaline conditions.
